Need some free leads? How about a few hundred? I’ve been doing some digging, and I’ve found enough opportunities for you to access over 1300 leads right now.
There are tons of opportunities to get free leads, but they’re scattered across the web. In this article, I’m gathering all of these resources in one place, and I’ll give you some tips on how to use them. I’ll update the article as I find more.
As a bonus, I’m also including access to a Google Sheets script that will allow you to access up to 5,000 leads a month.
Bottom line?
If you want to get 1000 leads TODAY…
WITHOUT opening your wallet…
You need to read this article right now.
(And if you’d like to share any other opportunities to get free leads, send them to [email protected].)
Dun & Bradstreet has been around since the 1800s. Now they’ve got a huge digital platform you can use to find leads in different industries, with different job titles, and a host of other criteria. They offer 200 free leads, but you’ve got to get on a phone call with them to get them.
SalesGenie has an easy to use platform for finding leads online. You can get 150 contacts with emails and phone numbers without handing over your credit card information.
I’m still waiting to receive my free leads from DatabaseUSA. They promise 500 sales leads(!) on their website. I’ll report back when they come through (I just requested them on 10/14/19).
webspotter is especially helpful when you’re looking for someone who uses a certain type of software on their website. For example, I used my 200 free credits to get the emails of people who use ClickFunnels so that I could approach them with my competing (and more affordable) software, KINGPIN Sales Funnel Software.
ReferenceUSA is a gold mine. Especially if you’re cold calling. And it’s free with a library card! You can get 250 free leads per search. But emails will cost you.
Hunter is similar to webspotter, but instead of just 200 free credits, you get 50 free searches a month. So as many emails as come up for a domain, they’re all yours. Below, you can get access to the tool I’ve created to allow you to search a bunch of domains at once. Otherwise you’d have to type a domain, copy and paste the emails (exporting to CSV isn’t free), and then start the process over for each request. The free tool below allows you to get up to 5,000 leads exported to CSV almost instantly.
You can combine Hunter with BuiltWith to do what webspotter does on a larger scale. Look up a technology on BuiltWith, download all the domains they’ll give you for free, and pop them into the tool I’m about to share with you.
